Hi, I'm Eric and I'm a graphic designer at Grant Wood AEA in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a BFA degree in Design in 1999. I currently live in Marion, Iowa with my beautiful wife and two daughters.

Career Goals: I see myself leaning towards the web design side of things. It seems that that is where the emphasis is today. I find web design challenging and creative at the same time. I love to study other websites to see how they create them.

Favorite restaurant: Famous Dave's

Dream vacation: going to Isreal, visit the wailing wall, and the biblical sights in the Bible

Most embarrassing moment: I was selected to play a guitar piece at the Kirkwood Community College Honors recital. I practiced the song alot and thought I had it down pretty good. I took the stage, which was full of musicians, plugged in my guitar and began to play. The amp I had plugged into was distorting. That might have been a neat effect if I wasn't playing a mellow jazz tune. Right away that messed me up because I didn't know if I should stop and fix the amp or keep playing. I chose to keep playing. While my mind is thinking through all of this I was still playing the song...but I got lost and was jumping to different parts of the song in the wrong spots. I was playing in a different key and so my open strings were clashing with what I was playing. I ended up red faced and embarrased and just jumped to the end of the song and strummed the last chord. Stood up. Unplugged. And walked off the stage.

Hobbies: Playing with my girls, playing the guitar, watching movies, making family movies in iMovie, reading.
